Course Description

GRE Test Prep prepares learners to master the GRE exam. Students extensively work on a wide variety of test taking strategies.

Course Goals

This course aims to develop students’ abilities to master verbal, quantitative and integrated reasoning style questions while building testing confidence.

Course Objectives

·         Develop students’ English vocabulary relevant to the highest level of difficulty and academic contexts

·         Recognize synonyms, antonyms, word strengths, and shifts in meaning based on contexts

·         Revise and edit own writing to identify weaknesses in arguments and to present persuasive counter arguments

·         Develop comprehension and interpret dense reading passages

 

Prerequisite

Cambridge English Unlimited Placement Test Written: 96 or up & Oral: 2 OR Completion of ESL Level 4
